My love for headphones stems from where most peoples does from a love for music. About 6 years ago I started listening to music more and more through headphones when I moved into an apartment and couldn’t use the home stereo that I had as much. I’ve come to enjoy headphones more than my homestereo and still use them almost exclusively for music. I like the presentation of headphones and I like that I can have several different sound signatures available without rooms to put them all in.
Eight months ago I started working at PeachBudz and my headphone collection grew extensively. From a few headphones ranging from $100-$300 to well over a dozen in the $300-$700 range. I also have access to about 50 headphones and 50 in ears through the shop. I found myself in a unique position to review headphones and be able to do so based on comparison of all I have available to me. So I wanted to start a site that I could review headphones and talk about trends that I notice at the shop as a whole.
